Day 02 : Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel, Yangon city tour features: Fish market, Chauk Htat gyi pagoda, Chaukhtatgyi colossal reclining Buddha Image and continue visit Bogyoke market famous shopping center to enjoy display of Myanmar superlative handicrafts. Evening stroll around hustle and bustle China town. Then visit of Shwedagon Pagoda, claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 03 : Yangon – Bagan
Early morning transfer to airport for your flight to Bagan. Bagan, founded as early as in 849 on the banks of the Ayeyarwady river was the capital of today Myanmar. Upon arrive at Nyaung U airport, meet and greet by your local guide and transfer to hotel. Check in at hotel, fresh up and depart for a sightseeing excursion around the Bagan Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area. A comprehensive exploration of Bagan includes Gawdawpalin, one of the largest and most imposing Monument in Bagan, Shwegugyi temple of transitional in style between the early and late Bagan period, Thabyinnyu temple, the highest monument of universal science, Shwesandaw temple for panoramic view of entire ruins, Dhammyangyi, unique of double Image of Buddha, Myingabar Gubyaukgyi, meaning “great painted cave temple” for its exquisite mural paintings, Myazedi pillar inscribed in four language mainly Myanmar, Mon, Pali and Pyu, Manhua temple with captive king’s impression of life imprisonment and Abeyadana temple famous for it’s fine mural paintings on Mahayana Buddhism. Visit one of the lacquer ware workshop to observe process of traditional Myanmar souvenir. Enjoy sunset from one of the ruins. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 04 : Mt. Popa & Bagan
If you are enthusiastic enough you may enjoy the fantastic sunrise view from one of the ruin.
After breakfast at hotel and visit attractive Nyaung Oo market, we then head to Mt. Popa about 48 km south east of Bagan. Mt. Popa, known as the abode of Nats (spirits) – a collection of 37 magical spirits both feared and honored by some Myanmar people and the Nat museum, which houses 37 life-size Nat statues sculpted from teak. It’s time to climb for 777 steps to the summit. Return back to Bagan with stop over at villages for cottage industry to learn the regional product as well as to watch the collection of juice from the palm trees, and its conversion to brown sugar. Once in Bagan visit Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansittha Umin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon visit one of the lacquer ware workshops to learn the process of making this unique souvenir. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from one of the ruins. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 05 : Bagan – Mandalay – Amarapura
After breakfast at hotel and transfer to Jetty and ferry boat to Mandalay. Mandalay (founded 1857 by king Mindon) is the last kingdom as well as the center of the Myanma cultural, tradition, arts and crafts. Upon arrival at Mandalay drive to ancient capital of Amarapura, the city of Immortality. Visit Mahagandayon monastery to observe the lunch process of thousand of monks who take their last meal of the day in total silence. Continue visit 200 years old U-Bein teak bridge on the Taungtaman Lake and proceed to Mandalay. On the way visit Mahanumi, a life like Buddha image. Check in at hotel. After refreshment, continue sightseeing tour of Mandalay which includes Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar and that make her to be the best place to see all the traditional arts and crafts. Start visiting gold leaf making work-place and see how the gold leaf is being made by hand in a traditional way. Continue visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the Buddha’s Doctrine; Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at Mandalay.
Day 06 : Mandalay-Pyin Oo Lwin-Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Pyin Oo Lwin (known as Maymyo) (67 km, approx 1½ hour). Maymyo to day stands one of the most famous hill stations provides an escape from the heat of the plains. Established during the colonial era, it is today a crossroad for traders coming over from China and this is reflected in its colorful market. If your time permits you may explore surroundings in a local horse-drawn carriage called a ‘Myin-lay’. English-style country mansions and Chinese temples dot the hillsides in a place rightly called the ‘vegetable garden’ of Myanmar. Return to Mandalay and visit foot of Mandalay hill include Shwenandaw “Golden Palace Monastery” to observe finest example of Myanmar wooden art and Kuthodaw Pagoda, which claims to house the world’s largest book of Buddhist scripture. After a challenging walks up to Mandalay hill (236 m) reword of a fantastic over view of the entire plain. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 07 : Mandalay–Mingun-Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Mayan Chan jetty,20 minutes drive and board on privately chartered boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwady river (11 km, approx 1 hour). Observe the world’s largest ringing bell weighing 90 ton and Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remain. After a visit of beautiful Myatheintan Pagoda, return to Mandalay. Lunch at Mya Nandar restaurant and visit local handicraft making process such as gold leaf hammering, tapestry weaving, stone carving etc. Visit with foot of Mandalay hill, visit Shwenandaw “Golden Palace Monastery” to observe finest example of Myanmar wooden art and Kuthodaw Pagoda, which claims to house the world’s largest book of Buddhistic scripture. After a challenging walks up to Mandalay hill (236m) reword of a fantastic sunset view from the hill. Dinner at Ko’s Kitchen restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Mandalay–Heho–Inle
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and fly to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho airport meet and greet by your local guide and proceed to Nyaung Shwe jetty and boat transfer to your hotel. Inle Lake, the second largest natural lake in Myanmar with 20 km long and 10km wide, situate 875 meter above the sea level among the hazy blue mountains. Upon arrival at Nyaung Shwe village boat transfer to your mid-Island cottage. Overnight at Inle Lake.
Day 09 : Inle Lake
Breakfast at hotel and guided tour in Inle. visit Mine Thauk market which scheduled to be held here today. Continue visit Phaung Daw Oo market which scheduled to be here to day and Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred Buddha images, floating village of Ywama, the lake’s downtown, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and the Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Overnight at Inle Lake.
Day 10 : Inle – Heho – Yangon
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your Yangon bound. Upon arrive at Yangon airport transfer to hotel.
Day 11 : Departure
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your International departure.
